Your Mission:

The Sales Administrator will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. As Sales Administrator, you will manage the daily sales and related activities of the company. Coordinating with colleagues in sales, accounting and marketing, you’ll help keep sales and related activities proactive, organized and efficient. We’re looking for a highly motivated candidate with great communication skills, a strong work ethic and the potential to be elevated to greater responsibilities within the organization. Success in this role requires being a hands on team player and ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing organization.


Requirements:

  • Associates degree (2 year) or relevant certification

  • 1-3 years sales administration, inside sales, sales analysis roles

  • Experience with CRM or equivalent tools required

  • Experience with invoicing (bookkeeping/accounting experience helpful)

  • Ability to write reports and engage in professional business correspondence

  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

  • Comfortable and professional in a customer facing role

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills

  • Experience in a fast growth situation where all hands are on deck and many hats are worn during growth periods

  • Customer Service experience a plus

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Efficient and organized with attention to detail

  • Honest and of good integrity

Typical Duties Include:

  • Provide back end support, communication and assistance to sales and related processes in the company including CRM entries and management, sales analysis and reporting, communication with customers, distributors and 3PL providers

  • Manage inbound sales related requests promptly and professionally

  • Process vendor and item set up paperwork for new customers, prepare and organize quotes and correspondence to clients as needed

  • Manage order process from quote to invoice, making sure the customer experience is efficient, timely and professional

  • Analyze and report sales activities by customer and channel

  • Support Sales Management in preparations for meetings, shows, and presentations as needed

  • Provide occasional support at shows and exhibitions, as well as coordinating follow up plans with key contacts

  • Engage in a mix of duties that support the sales and growth process

  • Manage CRM including daily inbound requests, tasks, updates and reports and generate follow up reports to support sales team efforts.


Accountabilities/KPIs:

  • CRM Management - Submit daily and weekly reports for CRM activity including lead generation, routing/assignment, task generation and follow up.

  • Inbound Request Response Time - Customer facing requests are prioritized with initial response within 24hrs.

  • Sales Process - Time to complete inbound sales process (from quote to sales order to shipping process to invoice) within 2 business days.

  • Reporting - Sales and Account reports to be turned in weekly and monthly.
